About Interchange
Interchange is a small web development studio. We build websites for Singapore and international businesses, and we take on white-label development for agencies. It is led by Philip Peh, who is your point of contact from the first message to the handover.
Why "Interchange"
On a train map, an interchange is the station where separate lines meet and carry on as one. That is how we think about our work. A business with a brief and an agency with a client deadline arrive from different directions, and both end up on the same line: a clear scope, a build you can follow, and a launch that has been tested.
How we work
- Scope is written down first. Pages, features, exclusions and review rounds are agreed before work starts. Anything outside that list is quoted separately and never added silently.
- One point of contact. You talk to the person doing the work, not a relay of account managers.
- You can see progress. You get a private staging link during the build, so you review real pages instead of screenshots.
- Singapore working hours. Calls, replies and review rounds follow your working day, so feedback does not sit overnight.
- You own what we build. Once the final invoice is paid, the code, content and design files are yours.
What we do not do
We do not promise rankings on Google, because nobody honestly can. We build sites that are fast, well structured and properly tagged, and we explain what we have set up. We also do not hide pricing: starting prices are on the homepage, and the final quote is written into the scope.
What we build with
We choose tools for the job, then hand them over cleanly. That includes Shopify, WordPress, static sites on Cloudflare, and custom front ends when a template will not do. For clients who want something lighter than WordPress, we also use our own in-house content management system on Cloudflare, so you can edit pages and publish blog posts yourself.
Who we work with
- Businesses that need a new site, an online store or a redesign, and want someone to run the project so they can run the business. See Shopify stores and CMS and blog websites.
- Agencies that have more work than build capacity. See white-label web development.
- Anyone with a site already who wants it kept updated and safe. See website care and maintenance.
Start with a brief
The easiest way to begin is to send us a brief. Rough is fine. We reply with questions, or with a written scope and quote if we have enough to go on. You can also email office@interchangestudio.com.
